In the last few weeks, It has become increasingly apparent that the transitional areas at the margins of the wood are, by far, the richest in terms of biodiversity.

They have exploded with feeding butterflies and bees, with the newly fledged warblers and finches thriving in the dense security of bramble, nettle and gorse.
